This course includes: ** Tai Chi Short Form: Slow, Gentle Movements: A series of slow, deliberate movements that flow seamlessly from one to another. **Mind-Body Connection: A strong emphasis on the mind-body connection promoting the flow of Chi (life’s energy). **Posture and Alignment: Proper body alignment and posture are crucial with movements being initiated from the body's Kwa (core). **Balance, Stability and Coordination: Movements involve weight shifting and controlled transitions, enhancing balance, stability and coordination. **Increased Flexibility: The gentle stretching and flowing movements can contribute to improved flexibility and joint mobility. **Muscle Strength: Engaging muscle groups, promoting strength and endurance over time. **Cardiovascular Health: Shown to have positive effects on cardiovascular health, improving circulation and regulating blood pressure. **Enhanced Immune System: Regular practice may boost the immune system, potentially improving overall health. **It is important to note that individual experiences may vary, and consulting with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise regimen is advisable, especially for those with existing health conditions.
